The kannada composer joins Sayonara in his usually styled techno title song — groovy tune with catchy hooks!
Hosadondu hesaru too is pretty neat, with pleasant reggae influences and excellent vocals by Karthik and Shwetha.
Joshua reworks his Appavi number, Vaada vinmele adequately in the item number Aaja nachre, while Karthik’s haunting techno-melody Naanu eega is the pick of the soundtrack; fabulous orchestration in this track!
Gundetu has the composer trying many things in a staid package while nothing sticks. I wasn’t a big fan of Joshua’s earlier hit with the same team, Love Guru. But Gaana Bajaana is considerably better.

Music Review and download - APTHARAKSHAKA (KANNADA - GURUKIRAN)
Chamundi taayi works because of SPB’s powerful vocals and the guitars Guru adds wisely to an otherwise standard song. Kabadi kabadi is as mainstream and massy as it can get — SPB to the rescue again, in a catchy package typical of Guru’s style. Kabadi’s other version with Karthik is even better!
With the ghost of Ra ra, Omkara and Garane gara garane play it straight, with a sweeping, intentionally-outmoded, classically oriented orchestration, while harmonious Rakshaka aptharakshaka is the pick of the soundtrack — Guru turns in a soulful tune with a lilting package! A soundtrack befitting the sequel’s expectations.

MALE BARALI MANJU IRALI - Kannada Music Review
This is from the kannada music director of hits like mungaru male, milana but unlike his previous films this one will be known for his bad songs. :(
'Yeno agide' and 'Ondu ninna' are painfully 90s Anu Malik material. Even Aadesh Srivastava! What are they doing in Mano Murthy’s repertoire? 'Gelathi neenu' may be using the ever-dependable Sonu-Shreya combination but the tune has lost its dependability long back, since it has been over-used by Mano anyway.
The title kannada song is an embarrassing string of silly English words amidst minimal Kannada while 'Ondsala ondu' is no better despite Kunal’s exuberant vocals.
'Vidayada veleyalli' is pathetic pathos while 'Jaga jagiso' is atrociously tuneless. The short bhajan Vijayambike serves to showcase Manasi’s singing skills. Mano Murthy’s music is woefully inadequate here!
